Glass on Rye

Rhyolite river cobble from Curry County and window glass.  One of my firs experiments adding glass to my stone sculptures.  In early 2026 I visited Tim Madden, and old rafting buddy who now does stone sculpture from his studio in Lotus, CA.  He showed me how he incorporates glass into his work,and I came home fired up to try it.  I made many mistakes, all of which tended to shrink the final piece as I had to grind away the errors, so the final form is not what I had envisioned.I am still really excited about the overall look, and am planning many more glass pieces.
